Have you ever heard of Rumi? How about Sufism, Islamic mysticism? 

This month's spirituality & brunch moves to the afternoon to experience the tradition of the Whirling Dervishes, who famously use "whirling" as a sufi spiritual practice. Rumi is the creator of Sema, the ceremony that we will be attending.

Following the service the group will head to dinner for a time to connect and reflect on the experience.

Service Details: Makam Postneshin Jelaleddin Loras will lead the Whirling Dervishes accompanied by the Mevlevi Order of America Orchestra, led by Dr. Timucin Cevikoglu, Master Turkish Musician, to celebrate the mystical union of Mevlana Jelaleddin Rubi.
